The movie in the vein of Ex Machina & Her meets Margin Call.

Nex Health’s dimly lit server floor, Michael props open a door meant to stay locked. He isn’t a whistleblower or a thrill-seeker he’s a heartbroken brother. His plan is simple in theory: exploit Nex’s cutting-edge AI, “Nexus,” to force the company’s insurance arm to honor a life-saving procedure for his terminally ill brother.
Desperate phone calls from home remind him that time is short; his worried coworker, Hassan, scrambles to cover for him. Meanwhile, an unseen presence inside the system sabotages every command, shutting him out just as he comes close to altering his brother’s medical status. And when unexpected technicians show up early, Michael is forced to spin half-truths with Nexus itself—an AI he’s modified to “lie” on his behalf.
As the clock ticks down, each new revelation reveals the high-stakes gamble he’s truly playing: one that might save his brother’s life at the cost of fracturing his own. Michael stands at a crossroads between heartbreak and hope, fighting to ensure that every line of code no matter how compromised counts for something real.

our
unique approach
We build movies like a business strategically engineering them for both creative and financial success. Our approach focuses on allocating the majority of the budget toward securing a recognizable actor. A great example of this model was during Bruce Willis’s later career: he was known to work for $1 million for a single day of filming, yet his presence would often elevate a film’s market value to $5+ million. By reverse-engineering the economics, producers could turn a profit by keeping total production costs under $4 million and leveraging tax incentives to further offset expenses.
For Nexus, we’re using a similar model but with a critical improvement. Instead of rushing through production in 7–15 days, we’re allowing a little more time for shooting. This gives us the best possible chance to not just create a marketable film, but to actually make a great one.
By blending smart financial strategy with a true commitment to quality, we’re aiming to maximize both profitability and audience impact not just relying on fan loyalty, but creating a film that earns it.
How Our Model for Nexus Is Different From the Studio Model
When a major studio like Netflix or Universal makes an offer to an actor, the deal typically requires a much higher salary. Agents know the studios have deep pockets, so they negotiate aggressively, often driving up the cost. Additionally, studios are required to use all major unions SAG, WGA, PGA, DGA, and others which means they must pay full union rates across every department. These union obligations, combined with higher actor fees, are what often push studio film budgets into the $10 million to $100+ million range.
Nexus operates differently. As an independent film, we are able to secure top talent without being bound to the major unions. This flexibility dramatically lowers production costs while still allowing us to attract recognizable actors. By operating outside the traditional studio system, we can produce a high-quality, commercially viable film on a fraction of the typical budget giving investors a greater opportunity for profitability.
